Edmonton is Fine

Edmonton is Fine began as a beloved multi-edition print map created by Vikki Wiercinski, which was a carefully curated celebration of the city's best hidden gems and local favourites. It deserved a permanent home on the internet, and that's exactly what we built. Working closely with Vikki, who brought her signature design style, research, and writing to the project, I focused on the web build to translate the map into a dynamic digital experience accessible to Edmontonians and curious visitors alike. The digital version is a living thing — easy to update as new gems emerge and the city keeps evolving. We also integrated advertising to help sustain the site long-term, keeping it free and thriving for the community it was made for.
